Laparoscopic is a surgical diagnostic procedure that is used to examine the organs inside the abdomen. It is also known as diagnostic laparoscopy. • After completion of the surgery, the surgeon removes the instruments from the abdomen.
• The incisions are stitched closed. The bandages are placed over these incisions. If the incisions are very small then no need for stitches and only small strips of sterile tape are used for these.
